Shopped Geese.

A. Mikaelsson

This is the same picture that I used in Tabblo " In the Neighborhood "

This one I first cropped to get it centered. I  made  a duplicate  layer  and then a selection for the two geese on the original layer ,  by tracking them with the magnetic lasso and then fine adjusting with free hand selection. Created a mask from the selection and ran  " zoom blur" on the duplicate  layer .  Then I merged down the layers (flattened) and used the softening tool on some sharp edges.

Thank you EVERYONE. Pat, I put in a little description how I made this one. I have a group called Photo Knowledge Share Group http://www.tabblo.com/studio/group/photo-knowledge-share-group/ there are a lot of tricks and manipulations that people make described.

TCG - From the photoshop exercise point of view, the results are great. But somehow it doesn't fit with the geese. Had it been a car or a horse or any other animal, it would feel right. But not with this picture.

Excellent photoshop work on this pic. I like the 'ray' effect it gives. It's very useful to learn how people create their special effects. It just gives us something special to think about and to try out sometime. Thanks for sharing.

You might be right Raul, that is some speed geese LOL!!! When you say it I can see too. I didn't really see it that way when I made it, kind of more saw the colors of the background turn into a nice pattern. LOL!!
