Thanks Everyone. When we live in a day that it fluctuates sometimes 10 cents in a day, depending on what's going on .... this seemed to jump out at me. I had passed this place several times on my way to get my hair cut ... and knew I had to stop. I think your friend Noe had a great idea of putting a radio in it and placing it in her living room. What a cool thought. Thanks for alllllll of your kind words. You made my morning. :)

Sheila, these are fabulous. I love the old. Another for The Photo League, I think. I have miniature Mobilgas and Texaco pumps just like the ones in the picture.

Wow, talk about your blast from the past! This is, indeed, very nostalgic. Great job, Sheila!!!

Very cool indeed - I like how you took a picture of the inside of the old Ford - looks as if someone has used it for a trash can!

Sheila...great shots of some old time trucks and gas pumps....and $4.44 worth of gas got you very far back then too.

The neighbors probably don't think much of this place, but I loved seeing it. I also love the dice and the broken rear window.

Cool nostalgic tabblo, great shots of these old and abandoned things!
Love2laugh said at 8:55 p.m. on Aug 24, 2007:
Thank you everyone. Frank - I have seen miniatures like you are talking about. I never thought of that though when I was taking these. I also liked the dice in the old Ford truck and the broken out window. I love that each of you see different things that stand out about it. I found so many of the same things interesting to me too. Thank you for all your kind comments. You have a way of making me even appreciate MORE the pictures I took after reading what you all have said. THANK YOU !!! Great friends !!!

Love2laugh said at 9:02 a.m. on Aug 26, 2007:
hahahahaha.. Anders. No that's not his new vehicle ... but we did get his car out of the shop after almost 2 weeks of them working on it to put a new transmition in it. Thankfully his grandparents are helping him pay for that repair. I don't know if I told you too... they found his guitar that was in his car when it was stolen. So we do get that back.
