KayDouglas said at 6:42 p.m. on Aug 26, 2007: Hey, Tom -- Thanks for stopping by. I was in New Mexico and Colorado eleven days, all told. It was mostly a road trip, so we just spent an afternoon in Abiquiu, but I spent a coupla days here four years ago and wanted Jack to see it. Storm clouds moving in put on a show for us. Perfect.

But your images are beautiful. Do you know the names of the rock formations you photographed? Thanks Lori
KayDouglas said at 11:22 a.m. on Aug 29, 2007: Hi Lori --
I know a *few* of them, but not all of them. Starting in the second row from the top, the dark flat-topped mountain is Pedernal (oft painted by Georgia O'Keeffe, of course). In the fourth row, on the right, the putty-colored hoodoo formations are "The White Place" (O'Keeffe called it that, at any rate). The two tall chimney-like formations on the right in the last couple sets are "Chimney Rocks" on the ranch proper. The White Place and Pedernal aren't actually on Ghost Ranch.
You can probably get more info from Ghost Ranch, which has a Gift Shop that sells prints, coincidentally. They have photo albums that may do a better job of naming the various cliffs and mesas -- http://www.ghostranch.org/photo-albums/
