They who can sleep in spite & despite of

They say money can buy bed but not sleep... so true for these people...

We complain of so many things that we perceived wrong in our lives.. we take for granted the things that is just always within our reach... if only we try to pause every now and then and look around us, perhaps we will be more appreciative of what we have.... and perhaps we will also learn to have a heart that is open to reaching out...

Ah, if we can only go back and have the innocence and pureness of a child's heart....

first set of photos is of my nephew sleeping on his mohter's lap... second was of a street child we saw sleeping on the pavement across the hotel we stayed in when my honey first came here november 2006. The terminal photos are taken when we were waiting for a bus from Tagum (my hometown) to Davao. the park photo is in one of the public park in Davao. Though my heart cries out for these homeless people (except for my nephew of course), I can only do so much in a very small way... and in a way, posting this is part of my support for the UN millenium campaign (http://www.millenniumcampaign.org). This is my little way of raising awareness on poverty.

Thank you for sharing your pictures and thoughts on homelessness, poverty and life. I believe that everyone of us can do something, however little it may be, to raise awareness and reduce poverty. A tabblo like yours is definitely my favourite. : )
