Hikes from Many Glacier hotel:

Swiftcurrent Lake Loop:  A 2.6 mils walk around the lake close to the hotel. Seems to be a nice “evening”- walk. We went only the east side on our way to Grinell Valley and Grinell Lake.

Grinell Valley: A 13 miles daytrip around Lake Josephine and up to Grinell Lake and Hidden Falls. Starting at east side of Swiftcurrent lake we went North Shore Trail and South Shore trail on the way back.

Iceberg Lake:  A 9.5 miles hike along Ptarmigan trail and Iceberg Lake trail to Iceberg Lake. This trail was closed due to Bear “activities” when we were there. We would like to have hiked this trail after reading about the beautiful valley and lake.

Cracker Lake Trail: A 13 miles (6.5 miles one way) daytrip that we didn’t have time to try. And we like round-trips better then “double” one-ways.

Apikuni falls: A trail close to the road with a small waterfall.  Rather steep hike winding up the forrest and hillside.

Swiftcurrent Valley: 17 miles at the Swiftcurrent Pass Trail. Passing several lake and waterfalls (Redrock Falls) . On this trip you pass trough the campground that we stayed in. A popular campground that fills up around noon everyday.

Thank you for these shots! Looks like we picked a great place to stay. Can't wait to see it all for myself. I think we are going to have a tough time deciding what to do because there are so many wonderful places to hike. These pictures are great. I printed out some maps of hiking trails, but maps aren't the same as this lovely picture album. Once again, thanks!
