Hikes in Two Medicine Area

Appistoki falls & Scenic point :

A 7 miles hike climbing up 2300 feet. You’ll pass Appistoki Falls after 2 miles. Trailhead called Mt. Henry east of the Two Medicine Ranger Station. Wonderful views.  If you’re lazy  take the  Tour Boat from Two Medicine General Store to the other side of the lake. We took a one way tour.

Running Eagles Falls:

A short hike 1 mile west of the Entrance Station.  Morning sun is best light for photos. When the water level is high (in the spring) an extra fall appears above the normal one.

Two Medicine  & Upper Two Medicine Lake:

Take the Oldman and North Shore Trail for a 5 miles walk and continue at Upper Two Medicine Trail to the Upper Lake. It’s 5 miles back using South Shore Trail. You can stop at Aster Park Falls and Viewpoint.

Other hikes (which we didn’t do)

Cobalt Lake

The 5.7 miles  Hike starts at Two Medicine Lake South Shore Trailhead, just past the boat dock. Its climbs 1 400 feet

Oldman Lake

Using the Pitamakan Pass Trail for 6,5 miles up from the The Medicine Campground you will come to Oldman lake. 6,5 miles back. Climbs 1 500 feet

No Name Lake

Start same as Upper Two Medicine Hike but go north on Dawson Pass Trail before Twins falls.
