That is some amazing gear Åke. I guess it's that Sigma you wrote about before. What is the full name on the lens and 2x converter , wold love to Google them. Skulle gärna vilja ha nåt sånt, men det kostar nog skjortan, tror jag :-)

Bougth both lens Sigma 50-500 mm $940 and 2X Converter Kenko- Tokina $125 at sigma4less.com . Actually cheaper (incl postage) then bying them in a shop in Sweden.

If you are looking for a good fixed 500 mm Minolta AF 500mm f/8 Mirror Reflex Maxxum would be a good choise (if you have Minolta mount). Men du har Nikon eller hur?
