I don't know her, but she's from High River, a small town not too far from Calgary. I wasn't too crazy about any of my shots from this weekend event... at least there's a next time. :)

The first one of the winner, well is a winner! and the straight on shot (fourth up from the bottom) is wonderful; I love the expression on the rider's face! ... too bad about the stuff in the foreground, but I can just imagine how difficult it would be to not have such things in a shot from an event like this! Great job!
DVP said at 3:41 p.m. on Sep 14, 2007: Yes, it sure is a tough jump, the horses have only one stride from the base of the bank to the jump and it forces them to take off like a deer, straight up. It's a real test of their power and agility.
