Monday Blues: Special Edition #2: Amy's Baby Blues!

Today is a very special day.  Twenty Seven years ago, my daughter, Amy Lauren, came into this world.  From the instant I stared into her bright baby blues, I knew I would never be the same.

 

 

 

 

In the spirit of celebration, I thought I would share some of my favorite  pictures of Amy wearing her "hats".

I can see why you're a proud mom; Amy was a beautiful child and has turned out to be a beautiful woman with a very engaging smile! ... I absoluted adore the shot of her with the straw hat, and the one with the basket and big red ribbon makes me feel the joy and happiness of the moment. ... Happy birthday, Amy!!!! And happy birthday to you, Pam, as a mother!! When Amy have born like a baby, you have born like a mother! My mother always said it to me and it is so true!! Some years ago, on one of my son´s birthday , I met one of my Greek students and I told what day was that. He said me they always congratulate the mother on the sons/daughters´ birthdate. So, now it is a "new tradition" for me, I like it very much. If they (child) have a birthdate... it is because of their parents (mother and father...).

This is amazing: A 'hat' in every shot!!! Is that your 'photo thing' with Amy, having her find just the right hat for a photo. It sure has a terrific impact for a very pretty young lady!

Thank you gerard! Hey Michelle!! So good to hear from you. I think Amy and Marissa look a lot alike! VFRENCH it kinda evolved. First I put hats on her cute head every chance I got...then she just took over. Most of them were spontanious except the second one! try making a 6 month old pose!

On dit que les enfants sont portés par le regard des adultes, des parents essentiellement. Ce regard est nécessaire à leur développement. Ils trouvent dans cet échange la confirmation de l'amour dont ils ont besoin pour grandir... Mais on oublie de dire combien ce regard réchauffe notre cœur d'adulte et combien nous en avons besoin pour... vieillir !
