So many songs have been written and so many poems too...

All about love and the many things people do...

Though so much has been said, sung or written,

None can touch about how I was smitten...

I wont tell of how high or how deep,

I wont tell if I could or couldn't sleep...

I wont say the answer is in a song or that my love will last for how long...

But I will tell the truth to you...

It's your smile, your faith and all you do...

I still see that innocence of a 17 year old girl,

One that gave our hearts a whirl...

I still see the beauty of your heart and still after 24 years its...

Till death us do part...

No one has touched my soul and spirit the way you have and no one ever will again...

9-21-83 til Forever!

When I was about 15 years old I wrote how I only wanted a husband to love me, one who didn't drink, didn't party, who would love me for who I was and One who wanted children and family as I did. Well In Feb 1983 I met Perry and I'm not sure if it was love at first sight or not but it was love, we only dated for 6 months and we were married in September 1983, against everyone's wishes! People probably didn't think our marriage would last, but we proved them all wrong. I know that God place Perry in my life and that we were meant to be. We have had many ups and downs mostly ups as most marriages do but our love for each other has always taken us through. Now 24 years later I can honestly say that I love him more today then yesterday and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us! We have been blessed with four wonderful children and now a granddaughter who is amazing, soon we will be having a grandson who we are more then excited about meeting. Two of our sons are married to wonderful women and one of our sons will be graduating from UTI in Orlando Fl. Our daughter is slowing moving into adulthood also! So the secert behind our marriage is the Rock that it is built on, the firm foundation that was set from the beginning and we owe it all to Jesus, without Him as our Center who knows where we would be. So I thank Jesus for all that He has done in our lives and all that He is going to do! Without Jesus who knows where we would be today!
