Washington State license plates declare that it's the "Evergreen State".

And it's true. The state is incredibly green all year long.

And much of the green is from the evergreen trees.

Tall evergreens are everywhere, including several in our yard

 The tree on the left is in our backyard.

The trunk keeps going...

And going...

And going...

When you stand at the bottom and look up, these evergreens makes you feel small.
