The festival took place on September 29, 2007 on the Mall in Washington, D.C. 

Highlights (for me) included watching a C-Span interview of Ken Burns & Geoffrey Ward about their latest project, The War, checking out the Magic School Bus in the Children's Section, and all the various war protesters on Capitol Hill.  

Burns and Ward spoke to a packed tent about their documentary.   James Billington, the Librarian of Congress, made closing remarks afterward.
