We drove down to Virginia in March from Boston and stayed in Williamsburg.  One of the first places we visited there was The College of William and Mary.  The campus is gorgeous and has the same feel as the old Ivy Leagues.

The next day, we visited Colonial Williamsburg.  

I've always liked the blacksmith's demos.

Lunch at the King's Arm Tavern.  A delicious ice cream with mincemeat pie.  We also had a peanut soup at the beginning of the meal.

Chocolate making in the kitchen.  Chocolate back then was nothing like the chocolate we have now, which is softened with emulsifiers.
