Irreverente! Adorei.
Eduardo.affonso said at 10:54 p.m. on Oct 6, 2007:
A vaquinha ao celular chama-se "Cow me now!".

MOOOOOO!!! COWABUNGA, DUDE! edu these are so nice. the whole thig. i love the ones with the poet and the cow reading. I think my favorit, if I had to choose, would be the one with the cow looking at the VW vans and the palm trees. and the first few of the cow readingthepaper and sipping the drink. I love RIO and the humor of Brasil!! Obrigada, mea amore!

Thanks for visiting and commenting, CHARLES! I see you've been learning some Portuguese...

CPT: These cows put a smile on everybody's faces. It's amazing how people change their humor when they meet one of these lovely animals. There's always a little crowd surrounding each one of them, and everybody talks, comments, makes jokes, take pics. It's not only a parade: it's a happening.

PAM: Don't worry about the typos... Have you noticed what is that cow reading? It's an interview with Walter Salles (director of "Central Station" & "Behind the Sun"). She may be old fashioned (take a look at her red bikini, with white dots) but she is definitely a sophisticated cow.

WENDY: This kind of humor is typically "carioca" (from Rio de Janeiro). I've seen other cow parades before, but none with such "joie de vivre".

Hope you'll do the same, SIMON, when there's a cow parade in Melbourne. These colorful cows are an irresistible temptation for any photographer, don't you agree?

DEE: I'm doing well, thanks! The title is not proper, because the cows were not only in Co(w)pacabana, but it was the only word I thought when I saw the first cow. I'm going to make at least one more tabblo with some more cows, hope you won't miss it.

THIERRY: "Vachement"? LOL! Some of these cows are more creative than others, but all of them made me laugh (or smile, at least) and that's a blessing - isn't it?

Nuestras vacas no eran todas tan serias.
No entiendo... ¿La consideraron una burla?

I am MOOved by your delightful shots of these beautifully created cows, Eduardo!!! In fact, I love them all that I can't choose a favorite one, but if I had to, I think the photo (#3?) with the little boy sunbathing with his nanny-cow the most charming one.
