What a Difference Two Days Make

 A lovely autumn evening in our back yard.   October 19, 2007

Two days later - a lovely winter morning in our back yard.   The cosmos are gone,  the geraniums are smashed down as well.   Everything is drooping under the heavy wet snow.   We knew this was coming so we did get the last of the tomatoes picked.   We've lived in Colorado long enough to know that this is a typical fall.    October 21,  2007

Wonderful contrast, mom! I especially like the one tree in the background that looks unchanged, despite the completely altered landscape in front of them. Ah, those Denver winters...

Very cool (so to speak) two-fer! My daughter lives in Longmont CO, and called to say the same happened in her garden. Oh well, spring will rise again.

It for sure Denver weather,here in the willamette valley in Oregon fast weather changes from fall to winter in 2 days doesnt happen.

So different and yet so beautiful view of the same place. If I had a backyard like yours I would take hundreds of pictures at different seasons, lighting conditions, etc. Congratulations!

You could use these pics as a game (don't know how you call it in English) to find seven differences between the two photos. The changes are amazing, and both photos are really beautiful.
