Stratford Upon Avon

Today was an extremely sunny and warm day. Our previous 2 weeks has been depressing as I've been busy with exams and Amar had to stay in the hospital. We thought we'd make up by going to Stratford.

Stratford Upon Avon is popular among tourists for being the birthplace of Shakespear and the preserved Tudor style architecture.

There is a beautiful park complete with a lake nearby the town centre. A great place for a picnic.

Ducks and swans populate the lake and they seem to be unafraid of getting close to people and pester for food!

There are many beautiful boats. Some of these boats are restaurants, cafes and icecream parlours. There is also a boat service to see the entire length of the lake.

You don't see me in the pictures as I was the photographer! This time my themes are "Natural Framing" and "Blue Skies". Nah, I didn't think the pictures turn out great either.

It's great to see everyone enjoying their time, as Amar particularly had a rough weekend last week.

Everyone came back home in high spirits!
