It was a great, and somewhat surreal. Like seeing Mickey in a perfectly happy conversation with a lobbyist from the Fraternal Order of Police. Or Senator Leahy wearing a glowstick over his necktie. Abd was that really Roger MacNamee in 60's hippe garb, with a black velvet cape over his tie-dye? My favorite song was Mickey Hart's spoken word version of "Down the Road" especially the verse about picking up JFK's spirit hitchhiking late at night in Massachusetts... |
