I parked down at the foot of the mount. I'd come to Arundel to visit the castle, but I didn't check when it was open - and it was shut on a Saturday - doh!
This is also a Tabblo test - so please comment on how I could use it better (problems I've found with Tabblo near the bottom of the page) |

Square views really don't do anything for these photos... |

Reeds are one of my favourite plants, due in no small part to the magical holidays we've had on the Norfolk Broads. This is my favourite picture of the day, summing up long leisurely afternoons just enjoying being outside listening and watching nature. |

This is the view that brought me back to visit Arundel. The cathedral and castle, both against the skyline - I'd not seen such an attractive skyline for a long time. Add in the glorious colour of early evening sunshine, and it's such a potent mix.
This is a panorama, though you wouldn't realise. The best way to display is as I've done on the home page of these photos: add some JS (click on the panorama on my site to see what I mean)
Yeah, my images were a bit too large, but at least you can see what's going on. I do story-line photography, looks like I need to come up with templates that work for me as Tabblo's ones do not.
If you've got suggestions for how I can make Tabblo work better for my photos, please post them! |

Interestingly, the side of the cathedral you see from around Arundel does not look anywhere near as impressive when close up. There's houses built close up to it and garages next to the cathedral. From this angle however it looks very impressive.

Being able to add captions to photos would be nice |
