We went today to see the moving Vietnam War Monument.  It is 1/2 the size of the actual monument, but still is amazing.   Be sure to click on the picture so you can see the full thing.

They had flags lined up for the fallen soldiers of the Iraq War.  It was categorized by time of death during the war.  There is a picture below of the map of how the flags were placed.  The number of flags there was unbelievable...  really puts things into perspective.

The Houston Metro Police K9 unit came to show off their dogs.  At one point they did a double dog attack.  It was really neat to see how they worked together and listened so well to their handlers.  At the end April got to pet one of the females, and it was amazing how calm and pet-like she was.
