Looks like a great place to have Halloween. Lots of very cool costumes. Really like the effects you added to the photos, it gives it a very Halloweenish effect. Great work.

Whoa, looks like it was quite a party. I like the one of the group of zombies. Reminds me of the Thriller video.

What a great collection of creepy costumes! Is this Salem, Mass? I suspect so because of the Peabody Police.

Great shots, Jeff. My favorite is the guy with the Jason mask (#13). I also like the one of Banafsheh in the crowd, the group of zombies (minus the smiling guy with the hat on the right), the one after the zombies (2 people, one with zebra hat), and the police. Very cool.

These are cool. I like the motion blur. I too am a fan of the shot of Banafsheh.

Hi Pam, no Holga photos here.

How did I do these images? I used a digital SLR in one hand, and my flash unit was sitting in my courier bag, peaking out just enough to be controlled with my other hand, or just left alone.

I don't have a Nikon camera, so I couldn't trip my Nikon SB-800 strobe using the built in Nikon wireless setup in, say, a D200. Instead, I used Pocket Wizards. I put one on my camera and connected another to the flash. Instead wireless connection!

Also, I think having the flash LOWER than the camera angle added a bit to the drama of the photos.

Lastly, I shot mostly in Tungsten mode on my Fuji S3 Pro. It makes everything a little "blue" at night. I love it And reds look super mysterious and rich.

Draimanboy4, welcome to Tabblo! You will probably remember me as the big tall guy with the bear-skull headdress. I wore it because I know I could get some cool expressions from people. And it was hard for folks to lose me. haha
