Istanbul, Turkey

Istanbul is a fascinating city filled with mosques, bazaars, museums, and good food.  Five of us squeezed into a taxi cab (with me on Larry's lap) and we visited St. Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Grand Bazaar. The next day included a visit to Topkapi palace and spice bazaar and lunch at Hamdi (delicious lamb kebabs!).

Thank you everyone! I only scratched the surface in Istanbul, but fortunately we got to see some of the main sights and enjoy good weather there.

Great pictures! I will be taking Cele Galaxy cruise in Sept, I can't wait. I wish I could take my pictures half as good as yours. Are you using professional camera?

Thanks for the latest compliments. Ejjma, I actually used my Canon SD850 IS camera. However, in December I purchased the Nikon D80 and have three lenses. Have a great timeon the Galaxy!
