When I met Amy she had two cats, Thomas and Teresa.  They were siblings and leary of me from the get go.  They would avoid me and took some time getting used to me.  

Thomas and Teresa fought from time to time as we all would if we lived a neutored, sexless life with one of our siblings :-).  We would hear the squabble and be greeted with a view of flying fur and scurrying cats.  

About two years ago  Thomas developed diabetes.  I gave him two shots a day since then and his penchant for eating did not help being that he weighed in at 22 pounds.  He was always friendly and responded with loud purring to any kind of physical attention.  A couple of months ago, Thomas developed cancer.  We had one tumor removed but it quickly returned and upon advice from our vet we had Thomas put down on May 30th.  We will miss Thomas for he truely was the best cat we ever had the pleasure of living with. 

So, this tabblo is for Thomas the cat, the wonderful wonderful cat.
