Jerii said at 2:18 p.m. on Nov 11, 2007: Deb - it is a lovely big building. I was on a business trip to LA with no time for sightseeing. But when I noticed the concert hall was within walking distance of my hotel I took my camera along and got up at the crack of dawn to check out the place. The rising sun was shining on it, I was snapping pictures, and everybody else was just on their way to work hardly noticing this neat place.

Krisu said at 1:29 a.m. on Nov 12, 2007: When this building was completed I read about it from the newspaper. Esa-Pekka Salonen was conducting there foe some years as a main conductor. I decided then that one day I'm going to be sitting in that unique concert hall enjoying some concert. Well, I don't think E-P is a conductor there any more BUT you put the old flame to see that building with my own eyes in fire again with your wonderful shots of it! Thank you!

AliDar said at 12:56 p.m. on Nov 15, 2007: Whoa; I think I'd need to carry around a level to get my bearings! You've captured this very well; I love the night shots (?)! Without all of the external references of trees and sky and the like, you get lost in the light, shadows and shapes, Great job!
Floridamolle said at 10:46 a.m. on Nov 16, 2007: Some great shots of an interesting and artful architecture, love it
Charliecharlie said at 11:37 a.m. on Nov 19, 2007: Great photos! Thank you for the tour around this building. You have managed to capture the feeling of warmth in the materials, playfullness and a sort of access that is often present in FG's architecture. Also I like your nightshots. Here you really get the feel for the "body", the sculpturelike qualities of it all. A tour of the inside next time? ;-) Good job!
ViqiFrench said at 10:57 a.m. on Nov 23, 2007: Absolutely stunning! I'd love to have in my home that threesome of #4, #5 & #6! The one in the middle of this row is my fave. But each of these are excellently composed shots.
