My Trip to New York City = Two Reasons.

Reason number one:

To memorialize my parents, my parents loved to go to New York City, their most favorite travel destination. So I decided to go to

three of their favorite places.

<

1.    The Carnegie Deli: Had their famous pickles and Ruben.

Could not finish the sandwich, so I said Mom and Dad enjoy the other half.

>

2. The Metropolitan Museum of Art, saw a wonderful exhibit called

 ‘The Age of Rembrandt ‘

my parents love Dutch artists.

3.    My parents always stayed at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel, I could not afford the Waldorf, so I visited the Hotel and had a drink in their bar, hence I made a toast to them with a glass of Woodford on the rocks.

Reason Two.

I volunteered to help out at the New York City Marathon.

Nice job, Zip! WOW. I love the idea of toasting them in the bar...not just ANY bar, The Waldorf Astoria bar!! You had them in your thoughts the whole time. Love it. And the Marathon just put a nice cap on the weekend. Cheers to you!! And mom and dad.
