Akonwara & Tiffany

AKONWARA

TIFFANY

Ako and Tiffany were photographed using my Infrared digital camera mostly. I also shot some color and some medium format film with my Holga of Tiffany (above this text).

Beautiful shots. My preference are the B&W ones, they seem bring out the striking features of these lovely ladies.

Awesome series. Almost "porcelain dolls" texture in the infrared shots. Great.

Coolness. Yes, the infrared imparts a doll like feeling to the portraits. So nice, Juff. Thank you for posting the 2 fer group.

Wonderful work, love the surrealism of the Infrared..

Very stunning and beautiful set. To me, the infrared brings out a very unique flavor, a certain attiitude, that really reaches out and grabs (demands) your attention. Excellent work.

The infrared on the one with the closeup of their eyes is scarey! Great job!

EXCEPTIONAL - Love the whole mood and results.

Your portraits are always so unique and senuous. Wonderful work..... For some reason, this one is slightly reminiscent of an old vampire movie. That is not an insult by any means, but a compliment. It's the combination of drama and a touch of the macabre. Just my humble opinion.

Thank-you Memotions... yes I like the effect. While the overall Tabblo isn't meant to be "scary", I do like the macabre feel of the photos of Akonwara... makes me think of Nosferatu and the heavy eyes from the movies of that time period. And it's fitting because Akonwara is the name of a demon (she told me... her grandmother told her stories as a child).

Le charme romantique à l'état pur. Magnifique. Merci.

I like the duos, that adds strength and interest. Beautiful shots, moody and elegant.

Very fine portraits. The infrared, the expressions and setting create a strong atmosphere: mildly alarming in midst of the beauty. Akonwara and Tiffany look as though they are making a rare visit to the light of day, and don't plan to repeat it anytime soon.

Put me in the camp that responds with "creepy" ... striking, yes, and the texture of the skin is luscious for sure...but the eyes are definitely creepy!

Wow! These portraits are extraordinary! I don't know how you get the texture of the skin so smoothly clear and without hard cutting shadows .... such an enjoyable work of art - great!
