karimunjawa, a hidden mini-archipelago

the name karimunjawa is derived from javanese "kremun-kremun saking tanah jawi". literally means "only can be seen its shadow from java mainland". represent how far this mini-archipelago [stands from 27 islets] from entry point jepara or semarang at central java.

it takes 6 hours by ferry or 3 hours by jetfoil to enter karimunbesar. the biggest island within archipelago of karimunjawa marine park.

yes, anja and not so far from the cpaital city of indonesia. strange, everything looks so blue and green .... less poluted! :)
