vihara buddha uhr

borobudur.  a nickname for the greatest 'bhumisambharabudhara' or 'vihara buddha uhr'.  a holy buddhist temple by the hills of menoreh in central java.  listed as world heritage member number 92 by unesco.

 

one of my favourite bas-relief panels here is samudra raxa. a story about how brave my ancestors in sailing away, against the wide oceans. hoping i can take it into my personal life, will never give up in sailing with my boat throughout the journey of life.

thanks ania :) yes, nice memory about hike up before the storm, and this was something different with sunrise or sunset scene of borobudur.
