krakatoa.  the mighty krakatau, lies on sunda straits in between west java and lampung provinces. gigantic eruption in 1883 that will never be forgotten. million victims on the tragedy, digging up the light-house of king willem III in banten province, the tsunami post eruption about 40 m high tide and the ashes that spread to the sky, riding by the wind, created unusual sky in the northern part of america. also created new pyroclastic formation underwater in the seabed of sunda straits.

by the end of october 2007, the krakatoa begin to be re-active after such long tremors. will it be create a disaster once more? hopefully not.
