What a wonderful Tabblo! It makes me think of childhood fishing trips with my Dad, brother and younger sister. We also used sticks with string tied to them and a safety pin for a hook. We always caught something....although NOTHING as big as that salmon! What a catch! thanks for inviting us along on your family outing. Most enjoyable.

Patty, thanks! But actually this was a small fish farming place. If you don't catch the salmon or you are in a hurry, the owner comes with a net and there you go, haha! Every child got his own salmon by the way! My cousin put the extras to the freezer. Oh, and you can also call the owner in the morning if you need a fresh smoked salmon on your way home in the afternoon. He fishes it for you and smokes it too in his oven! The prize is a little higher then, of course. ;)
We also smoked some of our salmons there. They have a little coffee house for those who wants to wait.
Anyway, it was a great joy for us! The salmons are strong, look at the childrens faces, they are really excited!

Love this fresh look. the layout, text and tabblo colors are just perfect for the story. another great tabblo. of course, your shots are right on, and i am glad to see they caught their dinner!

great shots! and what nice fish...YES PATTY!!!!! we used to fish with those lines with the bobbers, OR the homemade line, safety pins and BACON for bait!!! haha! :) Look at the pride and happiness coming from their eyes! :) i can't say that i like to eat fish though!
