Make Way for the Ducklings!

Mom, where are we going?

Wait up!

Aren't I pretty?

Don't be so vain...

I'm hungry

Let me taste the water first...

Don't push!

Where is everyone?

Make Way for Ducklings was one of my favorite books as a child and when I went to Boston in 1997 I looked for the "Make Way for Ducklings" sculptures in Boston Public Garden. However, I didn't get to see ducklings crossing the street while I was there. While I was waiting for my friend near the York Castle Museum (UK) this May, I had the lucky chance to see many ducklings crossing the road! Watching those cute ducklings made the rainy day much brighter:) A decade has passed, but my love for ducklings remains the same.

Why hello there, little fuzzy waddlers! Fancy that, Canadian geese checking out their British roots in the spring! A charming Tabblo!

Cute! The ducklings at the Public Garden don't get to move too much, but someone once put Easter Bonnets and winter hats on them (at different times of the year). Here are some walking Boston geese though --
