BACK to the PAST(the good and the BAD)

Mozambique (African coast)

Some years passed, a young man was trained to live as an animal. He was left with a bag, a gun, their friends and thus fell 3 years of sacrifices to be able to survive. My country, which was not anything in the world (dictatorship), had a conflict stupid in all its colonies. All over, fortunately! Yet shown great form of colonization, but I believe that all people, good or bad, should have the right to manage their destinations.

This really is a Tabblo to make you think. Very good!

É terrível... Foi vc que ficou lá três anos...? E quem tirou as fotos...?

Powerful images. Sadly I don't think the world has progressed much since then.

very harrowing photos to see Afonso, it must have been worse to live it.. Like LatentE said, and nothing had changed anywhere in this world... thanks for sharing with us.

Afonso, you have spoken of your time in Africa and I have seen the photos of the children in your previous Tabblos. This one has made it so personal. All of the images strike deeply, from the beautiful beach to the three young girls who are so ashamed to show their faces. I would like to add the right to OUR DIGNITY to your words. The monkey says it all. Thank you and Peace.

Peace be with you..... Never let the truth be forgotten

This tabblo is a small intimacy. We deserved comments ... but I'm grateful.
Pamela, my friend, I appreciate the people who show sensitivity as you. We can not do anything to change the world. This tabblo not show almost nothing (it's a complement to tabblo "A distant place"). To me show a tabblo provocative, I liked that could be seen by one billion people, and nothing changes. The monkey, has always been a loyal friend, who was careful as a human.

Afonso, might we also call this tabblo: Back To The FUTURE??
TavarES said at 9:57 a.m. on Nov 27, 2007:
PAMELA: That's impossible! This tabblo is just an image of the past. The past was yesterday, the future is tomorrow ... And, we are only on the day of today! Understand me?

Thierry, Hello! Great man!!!

Very moving and powerful tabblo Afonso. I disagree with you about your tabblo not being able to affect change though. As individuals we can only speak our minds, but the more that speak out, the louder that voice becomes, and if your tabblo only changes the mind of one person, then there is yet another voice added to the many. Thank you.
Pkeener said at 5:43 p.m. on Nov 28, 2007:
Sim, Afonso, I understand. We only have the PRESENT
Rataskaa said at 10:02 p.m. on Nov 28, 2007:
Very powerful pictures. I am very grateful that you share them...without learning of the past then how are we to change the future and change our actions of today? Thank you.
Liliana said at 8:02 p.m. on Nov 30, 2007:
