bandungan flower market and candi gedong songo. are nice destinations at central java within ambarawa district.

 

in bandungan, can be found florists and veggie sellers from the villages nearby who gather around the main road of bandungan hills.

 

meanwhile, candi gedong songo is known as "the nine temples" in english. this ancient hindu temples complex was rediscovered by british under the rule of sir thomas stanford raffles.

 

two temples remains ruins but there are seven temples still exist with superb setting, overlooking telomoyo mountaineous range.
