Pamela, this is breathtaking. Love the subject, and the way you layouted it.

rust and the cracks it generates always inspire me a lot. but i hardly ever saw them so beautifully captured and presented. it is perhaps one of the finest Tabblos i have seen on such subjects. best regards!
Krisu said at 6:45 a.m. on Dec 1, 2007:
You really made a rust look romantic. Great shots, what a tabblo! :)
Wlk68 said at 7:12 a.m. on Dec 1, 2007:
Very cool. The close up shots look like abstract paintings.
Cruising said at 9:10 a.m. on Dec 1, 2007:
Interesting ... I really love the way you composed the images, getting up close, always leaving something to the imagination. Very good job!
Leftofcenter said at 9:13 a.m. on Dec 1, 2007:
I can see these on canvas, huge, in a modern art museum, white walls high ceilings, genius sis.

The yellow door looks like an aerial view painting of a desert scene. There's something a little sad about cars/trucks that have signs of work done on them and then abandoned to rust further. A dream of renewal cut short.

This are great girl!! It looks like as if someone has put some art work on the old car/s. Like some revamped new(old as it is) look of the old one tho. Great angle, great shot as usual. I just can't wait to get me itchy finger to start taking again... sigh.. Wished I could, but my hands are goin to be busy with massages soon... lol. ;P
Very much missed all of you here. :(

You photograph old cars and they aren't junk any more! This is cool.

More magic from you. Old rusty vehicle turned into works of art. Love it, Amiga.

time's voice. wow. i like that. hey thanks everybody!

This is wild; I love it! It looks like this was an auto-body projects that was abandoned in the middle of being restored. In these photos the hand held sandpaper gestures, the hands of time, and your wonderful ability to see and capture, have collaborated in creating a work of art! Great work! :)

only you can take the old and discarded and turn it into art - the feeling this tabblo portrays is beautiful :) i had the same thought that annelies had!! thanks sis

I can only repeat what others said. I think you've done some very, very good job! It's something special with the colours, and the round shapes comes out in a great way. I love the contrast in them as well. And Leftie is absolutely right - I would love to see them as big blown-ups, for example # 3, 8, 9, 11, 14, 17........ I wouldn't mind having them on my own wall! =) This is great stuff Pam!!!

oxidation never looked so good...each picture's lighting, cropping and composition plus the overall tabblo layout combine to make a beautiful piece of art...a fav for sure! Pam, you rock!

Needs a body job!!! Great captures of the textures....I agree with Jude. You've managed to make the decay look appealing. (or is that a-peeling? :) )

I have been thinking of these shots for a couple months now. I was so amazed by the surreal, abstract beauty of the patina on all of the old cars. Thank you for viewing and appreciating the different perspective.

The largely black one -- I think it's number thirteen -- is fascinating. It becomes an abstract.

Nice concept. I look at it as the other side of life !

You kept the best to last! I like that......... These are a treasure trove of ARTifacts with the lead in photo just scratching the surface of what would be your best exposures. #8 is my favourite and this collection proves the life does exist after death, but I can't for the life of me explain why. I will return one day with the answer! Mike.
Pkeener said at 9:32 a.m. on Nov 11, 2008:
Mike, i was amazed at the abstraction. The "found" art. so to speak. I will be waiting for the answer here, from the "other" side! That is, if you make the journey before I do!!
