sunset at duxford airfield

duxford.  two things should not be missed during visit duxford airfield are the aircraft collection from imperial war museum and historic civil airliners from duxford aviation society.

 

we spent an evening on this historical airfield with bluebell. visit beloved concorde 101. also comet 4, b24, b29, f111e and f15a.

the airfield itself is a former royal air force [raf] airfield and used as a sector station during the battle of britain.

I like the shots of the Concorde. I remember seeing it as a child and being struck by its modern looks, which have held up very nicely throughout the decades.

- yes elzorro, when we're kids, concorde is somewhat "come from ultra modern era" and strange, when we're there ... she stays the same: modern. nothing has changed!
- jude, we also thank for wonderful sunset after long rainy days before our visit :)

Some great shots of the Concorde. Really like the perspective of the first one with that wonderful sky silhouetting the tail. Bravo and congrats on Tabblo of the Day!
