we started the day with church@PMC

the plan was to go to binder park zoo in battle creek. "are you sure they will be open this time of the year?" i asked. "of course! they are open all year long!" came the reply. big disappointment. anyway...we ended up in town (battle creek) and visited the kellogg cereal city instead. we also stood in the shadow of sojourner truth--a true freedom fighter.

then we went to the warren dunes of lake michigan.

it was pretty chilly. so yvonne stayed in the car.

then we visited the nice animals at lincoln park zoo. then we went to our favourite chinese restaurant. and finally we tried to attend a take6 mini concert cum autograph session. we missed the concert (traffic was unforgiving), but we were first in line to get their autographs.
