Castle of San Vicente of the Sonsierra. 12th Century

It shows its notched towers and powerful walls yet, its destroyed barbicans and watchtowers, in the hill, from where arrogant it defied numerous Castilian attacks, the old castle of San Vicente, pertaining to the crown of Navarre.

Their ruins testify its last importance. The solidity of their walls and an extremely advantageous position dominating the course of the Ebro river had to make it unconquerable.
