Abking said at 8:25 p.m. on Dec 12, 2007:
These are really nice compositions and the titles add a certain ineffable something. I like the last photo and it's particularly well titled. Sometimes it seems there's a song lyric for everything!
Decoy said at 8:27 p.m. on Dec 12, 2007:
This is SO cool! I love #5 and #10, but the top-photo is priceless! =) And the gangstah looks soo cool! Great to see them, those are very hand to find in this part of the world! =)
Abking said at 8:27 p.m. on Dec 12, 2007:
And, yes, the red wheel does tie #6 together, and the green license plate doesn't hurt either.
Pkeener said at 9:00 p.m. on Dec 12, 2007:
Allan, the songs are always there in my head. i think they have medication for that, but i havent bothered. i titled the wagon the minute i saw it in post. so great you noticed. i was the happiest with the first one, though..the 6 and the buick=the dylan song. Anna, i wish you could see all the great old vehicles i run into. thank you. Jude! hi. Doreen and pat, thanks. Anja, great to hear from you.

Pkeener said at 8:51 a.m. on Dec 13, 2007:
Brian, good question! I have owned a couple muscle cars in the past. I think i'll just stick to taking the photos for now. i think owning one now would be a full time job! Thank you gerard. Afonso, you are invited to come to the next swap meet in Colorado. Liliana, i havent seen the CARS by Pixar. I will look at it and then tell you if it is Colorado. These old cars are so beautiful and artistic, I always enjoy watching the old movies for that reason. You got it, leftie!! All the captions in quotes are from songs. Still a couple that nobody has guessed, yet.
Shenresi said at 12:36 p.m. on Dec 13, 2007:

From a Buick 8 is a favoite of mine from Stephen King. Less known than Christine and an excellent story. That Buick has the feel of something supernatural about it. I felt that before I even read the caption. Of course I am old motorhead and have read too many books by Mr King...
Pkeener said at 1:25 p.m. on Dec 13, 2007:
michael, it's fom a buick 6. a dylan song!! but i love the christine reference.

I do love the way you compose/crop your shots. these are all beautiful. I am so not a motorhead but there is something about the old cars. (and CARS is not to be missed)
Fredzee said at 5:24 a.m. on Dec 14, 2007:

YEP! A low angle shot definitely works for me with these old timers. It gives them great character and hides the fact that they are in a different time zone. Another great collection! Mike.
