These photos were taken during my Xmas visit to St. Louis -- again along the grand and muddy Mississippi River. Where I "loitered" onto the grounds of a yucky glass recycling plant called Strategic Material. And had a blast snapping so many rich textures and colors!
As much fun as this was, it also hit me like a ton of bricks just how much WASTE we in America create. It really is overwhelming, standing next to mounds of so many Bud Light and wine bottles...
And tonight, as we usher in the new year, we'll create mounds and mounds more...

We should all have this tabblo in our favorites and visit it at least once in a while. My friends at work tease me because I don’t grab more napkins than I need… print only the very essential in double-side feature… get binders (some of them look like brand new!) from the office trash cans to re-use them. Well, I try to do my part.
