Georgia O'Keefe vs. Ansel Adams: Both saw Ghost Ranch, NM in Different Light

My first visit to New Mexico, and from the first day, I realized why Georgia O'Keefe and Ansel Adams were so inspired by the state -- especially the Ghost Ranch area near Abiquiu.

The light in New Mexico, reflected off its unique terrain, has captivating color and texture.  A new set of "Moose" filters that combine circular polarization and an 81A warming filter made it possible to capture that color and texture. The two scenics above show how the same scene offers both the color and the black and white photographer different yet exciting perspectives!

Watch for plenty of other new Tabblos on this amazing state.

Beautiful scenics both ways. The B&W seemed to have lost some of the contrasting white snow highlights.
