The Beauty Inside a Mesquite Tree

This Tabblo represents hours of hauling logs, hours of sawing the logs into lumber, hours of drying the lumber,and still more hours of planing, sanding, cutting, gluing, clamping...then more and more sanding...and also hours of hand rubbing the finish on. (not to mention polishing!) Finally, here you can see the finished mesquite desk sitting in front of a mesquite tree!

It amazes me that anyone would know just how to cut the tree to make exactly what they want! Very impressive and totally .. a beautiful piece of furniture!!!! WOW!!!!

Oh my! The finished product is lovely! What a wonderful piece of craftsmanship. And the entire tabblo is so interesting. It it so easy to forget the work that goes into a lovely piece of furniture.
