Ugh! This reminds me of the time of hurricane Katrina when the phone lines for help from the Red Cross were all jammed but the lines for donations were always open. The Red Cross received enormous funding but that didn't seem to get transferred to the people that needed the help the most.

yes, as Latent says, when i visited New Orleans 8 months after Katrina, there were crates of food and things still sitting unopened from the United Way.

sad :( very powerful....i find it hard to sit in my car at a light, holidays, and these sad souls that people pretend not to see...i admit i have given several times...even if i know it's not gonna help much
