2008 Paintings

First painting of the  year, on black gesso'd 5x8 stretched canvas, these yellow pansies are done in acrylic.

These roses were done during a period of extreme stress over a stupid girl fight. The painting helped and the fight is resolved. At least I am left with something nice from that rotten day. Acrylic on paper.

This painting is done with a water soluable oil paint by winsor and newton. I loved doing this one and am still working on it. The foreground will be covered with snow eventually. The painting is a 18x20 stretched canvas.

Here it is finished with the cozy cabin.
