From flowers to unusual Pasadena sunsets, to random shots that don't make much sense, I wanted to try everything with my family's new camera and lens while I was away on vacation.  Here are some of the photos that stood out.

Dragonfly shots are especially challenging, as dragonflies really don't like you to get too close.  Here are some where I tried very hard to get the insect focused perfectly while reducing the depth of field as much as possible.
