Projects

My current project (though I haven't been working on it for about 4 years...) is a crosstitch of a photo of my brother and his wife hugging around a tree on their land in Vermont. My work in-progress is to the right, and the original photo below.

My largest (completed) scanned photo project is my wedding portrait. The image to the right looks like a photo, but is really a crosstitch on 40ct fabric, half-stitches only. This took about a year to complete and was a gift to my parents.

This peacock tapestry sampler (right) took a very long time, but I'm happy with the outcome. It is full of texture details as well as a LOT of beading.

This stitchery (above) is fun because is has some hardware details sewn into it and varying color depths by combining half-stitches with whole stitches.

I made a platform bed (left with drawers underneath to get rid of the squeaky bed syndrome, as well as make it firmer for my bad back. Fidget seems to like it.

On the right, is my vanity that I made from an uncut bathroom countertop supported by the same drawer systems I used for the bed.
