Thanks, all. It was fun pulling this one together. That's a lot of the attraction of assembling Tabblos for me -- finding varying images with something in common.

The first picture is very intense. I'm not quite sure why it strikes me that way, but it makes me think of a picture that would be on the cover of some controversial novel.

The lighting on the hands one reminds me of the sort of lighting I've seen photographers associate with sorting and long thought. Sort of classical approach in a new medium.

My favourite is probably the signs one.
The reflections combined with twilight shading and the manmade signs makes me think of a kind of ethereal understanding. Have you ever taken gear photos at a reservoir? I think the effect is similar.

I've never taken gear photos at a reservoir, but I would love to. The top left shot is through the back of a bench along a commercial street in my suburb. I didn't even notice the bit across the street until I worked up the image.
