way kanaan national park in lampung province, indonesia. here we are spending our new year's eve.

tranquil, secluded and yes, very close with the wildlife within the national park of way kanaan.

wild boars always company us during breakfast, lunch and dinner.  rosa, a rhino [rhinocerus sumatrensis] is one of our beloved babies here. she's sometimes 'crying' whenever the keeper is getting late in feeding fruits for her.

in the new year's day. the brand new year. we go sailing over the wetland to direction an estuary called kalibiru. we do birdwatching. beside the birds, monitor lizzard and butterflies also macaques and gibbons can be found along the way to estuary.

and whenever we back to our bungalow, a curly phyton just fallen asleep on the ceiling. it's sounds like greeting us, "happy new year, ukirsari and nicholas." :)
